Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai,
celebrated the Chinese New Year with the traditional Yu Sheng ceremony at Kris,
the signature Pan Asian restaurant located on 19th floor of the hotel.
Yu Sheng salad consisting of
strips of raw fish mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and
condiments, is served during Chinese New Year celebrations as a symbol of
abundance, prosperity and vigour.
Going by the popular belief that
the height of the toss reflects the height of the diner’s increase in fortunes,
the guests at the Kris participated enthusiastically and tossed the shredded
ingredients into the air with chopsticks while sharing their wishes. In addition
the guests enjoyed the finest Chinese delicacies with breath-taking
uninterrupted panoramic views of Dubai.
