Victorinox Swiss Army launches the 2014 Chrono Classic as a tribute to the popular Swiss Army Knife. Manufactured to the highest possible quality standards, its practicality and reliability are identified by the brand’s signature design. Billed to be the worthy heir of the Swiss Army knife, the 2014 Chrono Classic is made with a guilloché dial that reminds of the iconic multifunctional knife.
The Chrono Classic dial has been designed with particular care. It is composed of two assembled parts: a guilloché top plate over a sun-ray finished bottom plate. The effect gives the whole a sense of depth and makes the three chronograph counters stand out sharply. Also worth noting is the way the two small counters on the upper part of the dial comprise a single unit, whose shape, once again, resembles that of a knife.
Victorinox Swiss Army has added four new Chrono Classic models in 2014: anthracite grey dial on satin-polished stainless steel bracelet or black, ecologically tanned leather strap; or champagne dial (gold PVD treatment) on stainless steel bracelet or brown leather strap.
In every other way, Chrono Classic remains faithful to the features that have made it such a success. Its components clearly bear the Victorinox Swiss Army signature: stainless steel case; lines that are both fluid and dynamic on a 41mm diameter; a protected crown and oval buttons fit per-fectly into the case middle; and luminescent indexes and hands. The tachymeter scale is engraved on the steel bezel with Black Ice PVD or gold PVD treatment, depending on the model.
Chrono Classic is powered by a Swiss-made ETA G10.211 quartz movement and is available at select Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and 1915 by Seddiqi stores. For more information on Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, please visit: www.seddiqi.com.
