Serving a selection of mouthwatering desserts with an Arabic twist this Ramadan, Hey Sugar shows that traditional flavors can be mixed with modern sweets to produce delicious cupcakes, pies, cakes and more.
Back this year by popular demand is the 1000 & 1 Swirls, the original Kunafeh cupcake. Vanilla base with Orange blossom Frosting and sprinkled with Kunafeh, the delicate cupcake has the perfect balance of crispy praline and Kunafeh and soft, spongy cake.
Dessert Rose, another favourite back for an encore, is an Arabic Coffee & Cardamom cupcake with Vanilla Rose Water Frosting. This pretty cupcake is the perfect gift to take to an iftar, the soft pink rose petal frosting will melt in your mouth contrasting the delicious coffee flavours present in the cupcake.

New additions to the menu this year include the Blind Date, a date cupcake stuffed with Date Puree and topped with Walnut frosting; Ahla O Sahla, a date cupcake stuffed with Date Puree and topped with Arabic Coffee Frosting and Mocha Beans and After Eight, a fluffy Chocolate cupcake with Mint Frosting. These three light, airy cupcakes are perfect for a post-Iftar treat.
Three delicious cakes also join Hey Sugar’s Ramadan family. The Blind Date Cake, the Sticky Toffee Date Cake and the Coconut Cake, are available as full-sized cakes as well as smaller cakes for more intimate gatherings.  Each cake offers a unique combination of Arabic tastes that create an explosion of flavour with each decadent slice.
