Canada have opened their IRB Women’s Sevens World Series campaign with a comfortable victory over France at the Emirates Dubai Rugby Sevens. In the opening event of the tournament, the Canadians won 26-0.
Two tries from Bianca Farella, and one each from Ghislane Landry and Karen Paquin, with two successful conversions from Ashley Steach, and another from Landry, gave Canada a terrific start in Pool C.
The Canadians are next up against Brazil, and complete the Pool stage against Australia. France play Australia next, and finish the day against the Brazilians.
