Gold’s Gym UAE celebrates two years of resounding success in the UAE

Ever since its launch in October 2011, Gold’s Gym has continued to make its mark in the UAE health and  fitness industry with continued expansions,  unwavering fitness support to the masses for local events and introduction of new and improved fitness gears and equipment. Till date Gold’s Gym has 11 fully operating clubs in seven locations across the UAE, some of which have both mixed and ladies clubs. Business Village Deira, the first Gold’s Gym club to launch in the UAE will also be celebrating their second anniversary simultaneously during this occasion.  With a bourgeoning aim to establish 22 clubs in 14 locations, Gold’s Gym UAE begins their journey for the year 2014.
Gold’s is now geared up for their upcoming launches in Reef Mall, Ibn Battuta Gate, Deerfields Townsquare in Abu Dhabi, Mina Al Arab in Ras Al khaimah and will soon be expanding to Al Ain and Fujairah, having already covered Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The expansions in the last two years have certainly helped Gold’s Gym UAE achieve its vision of building a stronger community.
In the two year tenure, Gold’s Gym has offered their support and help to multitudes in UAE through free health checks, training classes, BMI analysis, workout demonstrations and free gym passes on various occasions. To name a few events, these included the Abu Dhabi International Sports Exhibition, Dubai Women’s Run, The Color Walk, Abu Dhabi Alive, Power Brands Dubai, Abu Dhabi Corporate Games and Dubai Municipality “Your Weight in Gold” campaign.
With a steadfast view to expand to other MENA regions like Bahrain, Qatar and Oman, Gold’s will be introducing new and improved workout sessions like personal training programmes and GGX classes in the coming year.
Head of Ventures, Al Ahli Holding Group, Mr. Ali Al Samahi expresses his content on the achievement and says, “Gold’s Gym UAE has succeeded in its vision to expand thoroughly in the UAE slowly and steadily. Gold’s Gym UAE has also been the firsts to introduce Hoist, VMX rope trainer and Cross Gym equipment’s into the UAE fitness industry for their members to attain fitness oriented results. Their partnership with New Balance for apparels during the course of their journey was a major milestone for Gold’s Gym.
Gold’s Gym UAE recently gathered a lot of media attention and space for the launch of their fitness challenge, ‘Fat to Fit’- second edition open only to Gold’s Gym members for a period of 60 days. The challenge which will come to a close by the end of January, aimed participants to loose fat and gain more muscle weight to walk away with a grand prize worth AED 50,000.
Gold’s was also an active partner in the socially popular and viral campaign, Mission Sonapur  initiated by two lecturers in Dubai to help provide labourers in the Sonapur camp with ample amenities and food.  They actively supported this social cause by supplying protein bars, caps, water and partaking in the distribution process on the day of the event.
Gold’s Gym UAE was nominated for best fitness club at Mother Baby Child Awards & What’s On in 2013 for their continued and committed service to the UAE citizens. Friendly staff, availability of new and latest equipment, passport membership offering members access to all Gold’s Gym clubs and amenities, fitness classes for kids, are some of the few factors which mark them out as unique and wanted from the rest of the health clubs in the region.

Gold’s Gym UAE’s recent addition is an in-house juice bar called Power Shack, a product innovation by Al Ahli Holding Group for members to quench their thirst after vigorous workout sessions.
