There is a dancer inside all of us! Weekends no longer need to be spent
in a crowded bar where you long to burn the dance floor. Now, you can try out
moves, learn steps and enjoy a real night out on the town dancing.
Yes! Feel the rhythm, feel the vibes and feel the
passion every Friday night at The Talk, Movenpick, JBR. Come along from
10pm-2am to let loose and join a full night of Salsa, Mambo, Cha-cha, Bachata
and Zouk rhythms. With fresh and toe tapping tunes from DJ Alex and regular
guest DJs, this is a night to not only unleash the dancer within, but to
socialise, dance with others and practise all your dance moves. What’s more,
entry is completely free!
The event is held every Friday by James Castro and
Alex de Smet, two of Dubai’s most successful Salsa dancers and founders of the
fabulous James & Alex Dance Studios, located in the heart of Media City. As
dancers, they understand that anyone with a passion for dance craves the
opportunity to get onto a dance floor and rehearse moves without being confined
to a class environment. Fridays at The Talk are the answer to a dancer’s plea!
And if you’re
concerned about wanting to brush up on your skills before the night, James and
Alex will be holding one-hour special taster workshops regularly at The Talk. The next two free Kizomba workshops will be
held on the 15th February and 15th March
9.15pm – 10.15pm, giving you no excuse to become the dancer you have always
aspired to be!

‘talk’ about.
