The professional coaching team from the club’s School of Football will hold daily sessions for boys and girls in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
In the capital, youngsters will learn everything from close control to shooting and defensive discipline on the lush pitches at Zayed Sports City from March 31 to April 11.
And for the first time School of Football will head to Al Ain and run the same training camp at Al Ain International School.
Simon Hewitt is head coach at the School of Football and told how the club has been delighted with the response from both children and parents since the School of Football was launched 14 months ago.
He said: “The kids really love it and so do all the coaches – the attitude of everyone involved has been absolutely first class.
“Putting on the spring break training camps gives these young players the chance to get out, have fun and improve every day.
“Launching in Al Ain is also really exciting and I am sure we will get the same response there.”
Marco Innocenti’s son, Manuele, has been a regular at the School of Football since it opened.
He said: “I really like the attitude of the coaches. They don’t only teach footba
ll but also how to behave and to respect each other.
“It is very important to teach them well at a young age. Manuele is only eight and that age it is important to learn properly.”
Another parent, Frith Powell, added: “To get my girls out playing football has been really amazing and this is the one thing they never miss. “
The Manchester City FC School of Football is open to everyone aged between the ages of five and 18.
In addition to the spring break training camps, the traditional 10-week-long School of Football course returns to Zayed Sports City from Sunday April 14.
