United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 11th November 2012 - For the first time in the Middle East, and another first from Grand Cinemas, gamers will have the opportunity to play Call of Duty®: Black Ops II in high definition on a new scale, across eight cinema screens. The exclusive venue selected is Grand Cinemas Ibn Battuta Mall, for the game’s “Midnight Launch Experience” on November 12th, into the morning of the 13th. All are welcome from 11:00pm onwards on the evening of Monday, 12th November.

Pre-Order Prize Winners Announcement
The event will witness the climax of the most successful pre-order campaign for any game in the Middle East. The regions pre-order website www.coddrop.com has been the focal point for fans looking to unlock prizes and reward themselves as they book their day one copy of Call of Duty®: Black Ops II. The most premium of prizes being the Jeep® Wrangler Sport, all fans will be hoping the drop falls in their favor, as “Care Packages” begin to parachute in the winners will be announced on the night.

“PLG - Power League Gaming” Tournament Launch
The Middle East’s largest cinema chain, Grand Cinemas, has partnered with “PLG - Power League Gaming”, the region’s leading e-sports and video gaming tournament provider, in association with Jeep® Middle East, Hardees and Xbox 360®. Power League Gaming supported the Official Call of Duty®: Black Ops II multiplayer behind closed doors in September and thousands of gamers queued for five hours to try the game two months early.
PLG will be running team and single player tournaments on a variety of key dates, this being the first. Then running into the Double XP weekend, at three Grand Cinemas locations - Dubai Festival City, Ibn Battuta Mall and Abu Dhabi Al Sharq Mall. The nine-country tour across the Middle East and North Africa will end at a secret location in 2013 and prizes* including an all expenses paid trip to LA, a professional gaming contract, yet another Jeep® Wrangler and a stash of other accessories and prizes still to be announced.
