Japanese traditional and healthy dining experiences created especially for women
Chef de Cuisine Takashi Ando of Jumeirah at Etihad Towers’ signature Japanese restaurant Tori No Su, continues the tradition of introducing authentic Japanese dining experiences to Abu Dhabi and the UAE with the launch of “Ladies Bento Box” lunches in November 2013. The set menu of Japanese traditional delicacies have been especially prepared and created with women in mind, chosen for their taste, healthiness and balance of textures, flavours and presentation that appeal to the sensitivities of women. The Ladies Bento Box Lunches will only be available for lunch and only for women.   
Says Chef Ando: “Quality restaurants in Japan often provide a special “Ladies Lunch” menu especially for women, addressing specifically their dietary needs and culinary tastes. They always offer exceptional value and encourage women to enjoy a well-balanced gastronomic lifestyle. I very much wanted to introduce this wonderful Japanese gourmet tradition to the women of Abu Dhabi and the U.A.E. and hope they can fully enjoy Japanese cuisine with a menu made specifically for them.”  
The Ladies Bento Box includes exquisite Japanese gourmet elements such as; egg custard, nigiri and maki sushi, black cod, pak choi, lobster croquette, prawn and sweet pepper, chicken, crab tempura, nimono, salad and dessert all in bite-sized healthy portions. The bento box also comes with complimentary coffee or tea. 
Available only during the lunch service at Tori No Su, the Ladies Bento Box costs AED 150 (subject to a 10% service charge and 6% tourism fee).
