Six-time Dubai champion Roger Federer took some time out from his busy schedule yesterday to visit Burj Al Arab, the world’s most luxurious hotel.
In the exquisite surroundings of the Royal Suite, Roger was interviewed by well-known tennis commentator - Annabel Croft – and reflected on his very own #MyDubai story, sharing his views on how the city has changed over the years, why Burj Al Arab is still one of his favourite places to visit and what some of his pastimes are.
Roger was also reminiscing about the iconic tennis stunt with Andre Agassi on the hotel’s famed helipad back in 2005.
Long term Dubai resident, Roger praised the tournament, saying he believed it was voted the best ATP 500 event nine times in the last ten years because it is so well organized and the players are so well cared for.
Roger then posed for a photo shoot in the impressive Assawan Amphitheatre located on the 18th floor at Burj Al Arab.
