Qube, located at Meydan in Dubai, has a reputation for showing a huge variety of sports and
is set to become the go-to destination for cricket supporters in the city.

“There are thousands of cricket players and fans in the UAE and this is a tournament we
have all been waiting for,” said Shadeep Silva, who plays for the UAE national team.

“T20 cricket is spectacular and there is never a dull moment – for me it is the most exciting
tournament in the world.

is going to be the place to be.”

The massively popular World T20 got underway with Sri Lanka beating Zimbabwe
comprehensively yesterday.

Tonight’s 6pm game will see India, favourites for the tournament, take on Afghanistan with
South Africa playing Zimbabwe tomorrow evening.

England, the number one T20 side in the world, launch their defence of the World T20
trophy on Friday at 6pm, also against Afghanistan.
