CREATIVE WRITING DUBAI: FROM SHORT STORY TO YOUR NOVEL

* UK Author & Actress Hayley Doyle Launches Latest Course in Dubai Starting 4^th March 2013*

Do you have hopes and aspirations of becoming a writer but never find the time to actually write? Maybe you have a great idea for a novel but are struggling with how to start or organise your thoughts? Perhaps you have multiple first attempts... then delete the whole thing only to restart over and over again.

Creative Writing Dubai is a special six-week writing course held at Traffic Art Gallery in Al Quoz. Each 90-minute session looks at specific ways of writing short stories and strategies to develop your own unique style, giving you the tools to extract the novel within you. The next six-week course will begin Monday, 4th March at 7.30pm and continue every Monday at the same time.

The course is open to anybody with a desire to write, even if you have never tried creative writing before. All those participating must be prepared to write a short piece after each session to discuss and share with the group the following week... and don’t forget your notebook and pen!

Professional writer, novelist and actress, Hayley Doyle, is the founder of this special course, Creative Writing Dubai, which has just enjoyed a successful first session at Traffic. With a Masters degree in Creative Writing: The Novel from Brunel University in London, where she studied under the supervision of the legendary Fay Weldon, Hayley won the Curtis Brown Award for a novelist in 2010. She has been writing plays for children in Dubai for over three years.
