HYATT ANNOUNCES FURTHER EXPANSION IN UAE AND SAUDI ARABIA DURING ARABIAN TRAVEL MARKET 2014
Key Launches in Strategic Middle East Market include Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi, Hyatt Regency Makkah, Hyatt Regency Riyadh and Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek

Speaking at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2014, Hyatt has outlined its continued expansion into the key regional markets of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) with the launch of Hyatt Place Dubai/Al Rigga in May 2014, and Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek, Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl, Hyatt Regency Riyadh and Hyatt Regency Makkah in the following months.

Not only are we excited to share our expansion plans, we are also pleased to introduce our award-winning, innovative brand – Hyatt Place—to the GCC.  Hyatt Place Dubai/Al Rigga is the first Hyatt Place hotel to open in the Middle East and joins more than 190 other Hyatt Place hotels around the world,” said Ron Cusiter, Vice President, Sales Operations for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, South West Asia.

Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl
In UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi, a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Emirates Pearl for Development & Investment LLC, a joint venture between Atlas Telecom and the Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), for a new Grand Hyatt hotel.

Enjoying a prime location close to the centre of Abu Dhabi, the iconic 47-storey hotel is located on the Southwest end of the Coastal Boulevard in the Ras Al Akhdar district of central Abu Dhabi. It is conveniently located close to upscale shopping malls and tourist attractions, and is only 30 minutes from Abu Dhabi International airport and less than two hours from Dubai’s international airport.

The contemporary “twisting” glass tower offers 368-rooms and 60 fully-furnished service apartments with four restaurants, a lounge, two bars, extensive meeting facilities and a sophisticated spa & fitness centre. The hotel has been designed by Dennis Lems Architects Associates, with interiors by MKV Design of London. 
Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek
Hyatt and wasl Hospitality, a subsidiary of wasl Asset Management, have announced the launch of Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek in 2015.  wasl Hospitality manages a portfolio of several hotels with over 2,200 rooms. The Dubai-based portfolio already includes three Hyatt-branded hotels, including the award-winning Grand Hyatt Dubai, Hyatt Regency Dubai and Park Hyatt Dubai.
Situated within Dubai Health Care City, by the iconic Dubai Creek, the property will feature extensive food and beverage options, a Regency club lounge, spa with 8 treatment rooms and signature gym and fitness studios. The development will feature 464 hotel rooms and 405 apartments.
Hyatt Regency Makkah
In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a Hyatt affiliate has entered into an agreement with Jabal Omar Development Company to manage three properties in Makkah, the Holy city. Hyatt Regency Makkah will be part of a two-phase master planned mixed-use development with a built-up area of more than two million square meters. Hyatt Regency Makkah, slated to launch in 2015, will offer 657 guestrooms including 26 suites, in addition to several dining venues, a Regency Club lounge, a fitness center, as well as 24-hour in room dining.
The hotel is located in close proximity to several religious sites, including the holiest shrine of Islam – Al-Masjid Al-Haram or the Sacred Mosque (which is within 5 minutes walking distance), Mount Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina. Pilgrims visit these sites each year for Hajj, the largest pilgrimage in the world, and during the month of Ramadan.
Hyatt Regency Riyadh
In the Kingdom’s capital, a Hyatt affiliate has entered into an agreement with Mohammed A. Al Swailem Co. for Commercial Investment for a Hyatt Regency hotel in Riyadh offering 260 guestrooms including 40 suites spread across 28 floors of gracefully modern architecture. Each room and suite offers rich textures, designer décor, fine furnishings, panoramic views of the vibrant city of Riyadh and natural daylight, which is equally suited to work or relaxation.
The hotel, slated to launch in 2015, will also feature a lobby lounge, two restaurants, a Regency Club lounge, Fitness Centre, more than 1,000 square metres of ballroom and event space, and a number of small meeting rooms.
Offering intriguing architecture and panoramic views, Hyatt Regency Riyadh is ideally situated downtown in Olaya Street, a prime location for both business and pleasure. From the hotel's location in the heart of the central business district, it is just a two-minute walk to Centria Mall, Olaya Towers and Tahlia Street, where business meets fashion and entertainment.
Hyatt is taking part at ATM in Dubai from 5-8 May 2014, located at HC5450 in Sheikh Saeed Arena Hall.
