Johnson & Johnson Distributes Over
500 Babyshop Back-to-School Kits among Underprivileged Children
Johnson &
Johnson sponsored more than 500 school kits and stationery
items for underprivileged children from Ajman-based Al Ihsan Charitable Centre in collaboration with Babyshop, the region’s leading
children’s retail concept and a one-stop shop for children's products.
The humanitarian
initiative was held on 9 September at Al Ihsan Charitable Centre. The back-to-school
hampers were carefully prepared to contain all essentials for school-going
children including Babyshop’s trendy trolley bags, lunch and pencil kits.
Additionally, Babyshop entertainers made the event more memorable by organising
fun-filled activities that featured a special magic act and balloon twisting
session.
Al
Ihsan Charity Association was founded in 1990 by a group of philanthropic
individuals. In 1998, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuwaimi, Member
of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, officially renamed it as the Al
Ihsan Charity Association Center. The centre seeks to provide financial, in
kind and healthcare assistance to limited-income members of the society and empower
them to become vital members of the community.
Babyshop is a leader in the niche segment of 0-16 year olds and offers a selection of products to suit their varied needs. The company complies with the highest quality standards to ensure all its products are child-safe.
