Ski Dubai will be
hosting the 3rd annual Ice Warrior challenge on 16th November 2012, where
participants will compete in sub-zero conditions and snow covered tertian to
overcome a customized obstacle course that will be complex, unusual and above
all, tremendously exciting and exhilarating. Modeled off the world’s toughest
commando assault course, the Ice Warrior Challenge III will help raise money
for the Beit Al Khair Society, and its efforts to provide humanitarian services
for disadvantaged community members, especially children with disabilities.
The Ice Warrior Challenge III is open to all
individuals aged 15 and above and will entail a customized course divided by 18
obstacles on the icy slopes of Ski Dubai. Designed to appeal to all skill and
endurance levels, contestants will navigate the course in freezing -2 degree
conditions and fight the elements to finish the course on top. Ski Dubai spent
months developing the course and is set to offer some never before seen
elements, including , rope trails, icy tunnel crawls, hill slides, zorbing and
jumping on inflatable obstacles.
The winning contender will receive a 6 person
stay at Kempinski worth AED 50,000 with runners up being awarded Fitness First
membership, Spa vouchers, dinner at Pullman hotel and various other exciting
prizes. All participants will also receive Ice Warrior t-shirts and a goodie
bag stuffed with vouchers and giveaways courtesy of sponsors including
Columbia, iFLY, Vox Cinemas and Mountain Dew and complimentary food and
beverages from Carrefour.
