Rare 2-Day Engagement in Dusit Thani Dubai’s Benjarong Restaurant

Founded on a vision to create things that never existed before, Dusit Thani
Dubai’s Thai restaurant Benjarong takes on yet another exciting culinary offering
as it presents a 4-course degustation menu by an award-winning guest chef Dusit
International’s new Group Chef of Thai Cuisine – Chef Morten Boejstrup
Nielsen.
On
the 6th and 7th of February 2014, this unique 2-day
gastronomic experience is the first of his two stops in the United Arab of Emirates,
taking Benjarong’s prominence as the city’s premier Thai restaurant to new
heights.
With
his impressive pedigree, which includes Michelin-starred Nahm Restaurant in
London and Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin in Bangkok, Chef Morten specialises in
combining modern techniques with traditional flavour profiles to produce
contemporary dishes that are distinctly Thai at heart.

From
his home kitchen at the original Benjarong in Dusit Thani Bangkok and Dusit
International Corporate headquarters, Chef Morten will be responsible for
taking the entire Dusit International’s Thai cuisine concept to new heights, further
building on the legacy of its signature restaurant brand. In his new role as
Group Chef - Thai Cuisine, Chef Morten will focus heavily on developing and
mentoring our Thai culinary talents bringing about a delectable dynamism across
all Thai restaurant outlets.
Some
menu highlights include Seared Foie Gras
with Ginger, Tamarind and Five Spice, Monkfish with Zucchini Blossom and Green
Curry, and Baby Langoustine with Satay Spice and Pickled Cauliflower. In
addition, a selection of recommended wines by the glass has been carefully
paired to enhance the flavor profiles of each dish.
Available for dinner, the
Contemporary Thai Menu by Chef Morten Boejstrup Nielsen is priced at AED300 per
person and will be available from 6-7 February 2014
in Benjarong Restaurant located on the 24th Floor of Dusit Thani
Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE.
