200 shooters to compete in live contest for three days
The Fazza
Championship for Shooting Schuetzen Rifle category is set to commence on 28
January 2014 at the Nad Al-Sheba shooting grounds between 8.30 am and 4pm. The
Championship is being organised by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center and
has already witnessed 200 registrations, the highest since the inception of the
Championship, four years ago, compared to 120 participants last year.
Sheikh Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Hasher Al Maktoum,
Olympic shooter and the head of the organising committee of the Fazza
Championship for Shooting says: “The growth in the Championship is thanks to
the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center’s rigorous and dedicated efforts to
enhance the quality of the competition every successive year.”

supporting and encouraging the sport practiced by our forefathers.”

The Championships will see 92 shooters from Kuwait
compete alongside other participants from the UAE and the rest of the GCC as
well as 15 women shooters.
