@IppolitaJewelry IPPOLITA ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF RETAIL BOUTIQUES IN THE MIDDLE EAST

International jewelry brand IPPOLITA is pleased to announce the launch of its retail boutiques in the Middle East in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.   The stunning boutique in Abu Dhabi opened its doors February 7, 2014 and is the second boutique to open worldwide. The launch will be closely followed by the Boutique in Jeddah in January 2014. IPPOLITA will allow customers to shop for unique and exclusive jewelry in a shopping environment that reinforces the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, beauty and fashion.

After the successful opening of the jewelers Madison Avenue Boutique in the U.S., the Abu Dhabi Boutique will be the second of 7 point of sales due to open in the Middle East this year with both the Abu Dhabi and Jeddah boutiques featuring innovative merchandising concepts, offering customers a fashion shopping experience with a focus on wardrobing, which has become part of the brand’s DNA. Unlike traditional jewelry stores that have a more formal selling ceremony, IPPOLITA’s stylists will help customers create their own unique wardrobe looks, matching their fashion with jewelry.

IPPOLITA’s Chief officer Joe Cavalcante, saw strong returns from the brand’s pre-existing Middle East locations which there are currently three in Dubai and one in Bahrain.  The strong consumer feedback in the region has spurred the brand to expand and are exciting with the developments due to come this year.

“The Middle Eastern customer doesn’t differ that much from the U.S. customer,” he said. “They want colorful, easy-to-wear fine jewelry.,” Joe Cavalcante, CEO.

IPPOLITA’s strength is linked to the diversity of materials used, such as leather, sterling silver, rose gold and 18-karat yellow gold, as well as diamonds and semi-precious stones. The pairing of those materials can alter the price by thousands of dollars, but the similarity of the designs remains consistent. This has served as a strong branding tool for IPPOLITA in a region where the brand is expanding.

The boutiques will feature an expanded product offering – including the designer’s classic Gold, Sterling Silver and Rosé collections — as well as exclusive vintage-style and one-of-a-kind creations in gold, diamonds and silver.

Designed by New York based architectural firm Jeffrey Hutchison & Associates, the new boutique will consist of hand-carved bronze fixtures, travertine and custom designed window installations reflecting the brand’s distinctive fashion point of view.
