Bovet intensifies Amadeo® portfolio with new unprecedented timepieces

Introduces Fleurier 36 Miss Audrey, Fleurier Tourbillon Virtuoso III, and BOVET by Pininfarina’s Sergio

Boasting the ingenious concept that transforms a wristwatch into a pocket watch, table clock or pendant watch, Bovet launches new timepieces to add to the Amadeo® portfolio.  Since the Amadeo® case concept was introduced in 2010, the entire Fleurier collection was equipped with the new feature.  Bovet presents Amadeo® Fleurier 36 ‘Miss Audrey,’ the lightest timepiece in the collection due to its small size and lower density of steel; Amadeo® Fleurier ‘Tourbillon Virtuoso III, the five-day Tourbillon with retrograde perpetual calendar and reversed hand-fitting; and a tourbillon timepiece with split-second chronograph, BOVET by Pininfarina ‘Sergio.
Amadeo® Fleurier 36 ‘Miss Audrey’
A woman’s ideal gem, the Amadeo® Fleurier ‘Miss Audrey’, comes with a strong synthetic fiber strap with every appearance of satin, and of course with a necklace allowing the timepiece to be worn as a pendant.  ‘Miss Audrey’ is proportionally narrower than other timepieces in the collection, and with this comes added femininity. Despite its thinness, the timepiece has sufficient volume to be powered by a self-winding mechanical movement with impeccable timekeeping properties.  The guilloché dial of the ‘Miss Audrey’ features the same motif as the mother-of-pearl guilloché dials in the Amadeo® Fleurier Collection. For added elegance and understatement, only two serpentine hands appear on the surface of the dial.  Available in turquoise and light purple.

5-Day Tourbillon with Retrograde Perpetual Calendar and Reversed Hand-Fitting
A welcome addition to the Grand Complications collection offering genuinely useful functions, the Tourbillon Virtuoso III is a beautiful and cultured addition to the world of fine watchmaking and keeps alive an unrivalled degree of expertise, bringing BOVET’s past resolutely into the future.  It extends the ability to travel in time by drawing inspiration from its historical heritage. A push-piece coaxial to the winding stem and located on the pendant enables the case-back to be opened in the manner of BOVET pocket watches of the 19th century.

Split-Second Chronograph
This split-seconds chronograph, also known as the ‘Sergio’, shares the same refinement, reliability and engineering virtuosity of its namesake – with reference to Ferrari’s high performance specifications and the timepiece is named after Sergio Pininfarina, a man behind the most beautiful designs in the automotive history.  The movement is a self-winding mechanical chronograph of unrivalled robustness. Giving the assurance of perfect timekeeping, it features a small-second, a 30 minute counter and a power-reserve indicator. As its name implies, it is capable of measuring any number of intermediate times, a function particularly sought-after in the world of motor sport.  The push-pieces positioned on either side of the crown fulfill their normal functions, respectively start and stop for the first, and reset for the second.  Like all timepieces in the collection, the ‘Sergio’ Chronograph features the Amadeo® convertible system which makes it possible to instantly convert it into a wristwatch, a miniature table clock or a sports timer. An optional chain adds the possibility of wearing this timepiece as a pocket watch.  Available in a limited edition of 250 timepieces and is well equipped to win the hearts and minds of enthusiasts of fine engineering, be it under the hood of a racing car or, purring like clockwork, nestled comfortably on their wrist.
Bovet timepieces are available at select Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons stores across the UAE.  For more information please visit: www.seddiqi.com.
