Gold’s Gym UAE and Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium announced agreement to open and expansive new fitness facility. The new facility will be the largest Gold’s Gym UAE in the region and in Al Ain stretching across 60,000 square feet and two storeys. The complex will house crèche for kids, mixed use health space and also dedicated women-only facilities. Assets include a kids’ pool, a separate ladies & mixed pool, an indoor running track and dedicated parking.

“Gold’s Gym UAE is delighted to continue its global tradition of passion and experience with a new Al Ain location at the quintessential Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. We are extremely excited for this partnership and the new relationship and bridges it will build in the process. The UAE market for fitness and style is expanding rapidly as people become more health conscious and society becomes more aware of the risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle,” said Nitesh Seebran, Chief of Operations, Gold’s Gym UAE. “Al Ain is a relatively underserved market that we are delighted to cater to. And our location gave us the space to create a lifestyle and wellbeing experience exactly the way we wanted.”

The gym will host multi-purpose health and wellbeing facilities including cardio training, strength training and free weight workouts. Space will also be available for MMA fitness classes, personal training and Cross Gym workouts. A Wi-Fi equipped Member’s Lounge will offer post-workout relaxation.

“Our members don’t just want world class fitness expertise and a tradition of health that has been going back to 1965 – they also want a contemporary space where the overall experience counts. Our new facility at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain has plenty to offer for serious athletes but also welcomes the entire family. It proves that keeping fit can be a hugely rewarding social exercise,” said Ali Al Samahi, Head of Ventures – Al Ahli Holding Group.
The facility will also make room for a Ladies’ Spa, a Ladies Lounge and Group Exercise Studios. It also houses women-only facilities for free weights, cardio and personal training.
“We wanted to create a new Gold’s Gym UAE that welcomes everyone, and is a cut above any other gym in the UAE in terms of equipment, facilities, tradition and the overall experience,” concluded Mr. Samahi.

The new Gold’s Gym UAE will form a part of the inspirational mixed used development over 500,000 square meters including aloft hotel with 172 rooms, 700 residential units in a complex of apartments and green spaces, two office buildings of 20,000 square meters in addition to food and retail outlets. The development surrounds the iconic Hazza bin Zayed Stadium with capacity of 25,000-seat over 45,000sqm, which is hailed as one of the most modern and unique sporting venues in the Middle East.

“It is our pleasure to welcome Gold’s Gym UAE to the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium development and to bring on board such a high quality brand and a high calibre partner” said Justin Frankel, Senior Development Manager, Al Ain Club Investment Company. “We are very much aligned with our goals to not only bring the very best facilities but encourage and instil the right attitudes towards health and wellbeing. This agreement comes Intune with the master plan design philosophy and aspiration of building communities around healthy and active lifestyle.” He added.

Ahmed Saeed, Leasing and Commercial Manager, Al Ain Club Investment Company said: “Gold’s Gym UAE is the perfect partner as we endeavour to become a central destination for citizens and residents in the United Arab Emirates for sports, entertainment and cultural activities. The stadium and development core theme is to provide a unique platform to enjoy a healthy lifestyle for all family members, and with the addition of one of the biggest sports centers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, we are proud to endorse our offering with this new agreement.”
