On 26 November 2013, get up close
and personal with the J9 World Legends team while they are hanging out at The
Huddle, Citymax Hotels Bur Dubai. The Huddle will open its doors to the public
on a first-come first-served basis for a cover charge of AED 250 which includes
unlimited regular beverages and canapés from 8:30pm to 11:30pm. Advance
reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling 050 501 5952.J9 World Legends is the most capped, inaugural rugby 7s Legends Veteran team to play in the 2013 Emirates Rugby Sevens. The J9 World Legends team boasts an array of 15 former international rugby greats with a combined total of more than 1000 international Test Caps, not to mention their patron, Joost van der Westhuizen, one of the world’s greatest scrum-halves, with 89 caps. The J9 Foundation was launched by Joost in aid those suffering from the same form of fatal illness with which he was diagnosed in early 2011, Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
