More Live Acts Confirmed to Perform at Gulf Bike Week @gulfbikeweek



The Best in Local Talent to Rock Dubai Media City, Along with MTV EMA Nominated Juliana Down

With the region’s best bike festival just around the corner, Clarion Events Middle East has announced additions to the music line-up. Jay Wud, Point of View and Chronicles of Khan will also be performing at Gulf Bike Week 2013, in addition to the seven previously confirmed bands.

Already confirmed artists include: The Maplejacks, The Boxtones (winners of Rolling Stone’s Street to Stage), Juliana Down, Sandwash, Salha & The Million Dollar Band, Riff Raff, and Screemin Egulz. In addition to a plethora of bands, DJ Kinky D. will also be spinning the latest tracks throughout the event, which will be held at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre from October 24 to 26.

Pauline Ryan, Marketing Manager, Clarion Events Middle East, said: “The entertainment we have planned this year will certainly captivate visitors, as you don’t see a collective line-up of the best and budding upcoming talent like this too often, especially for an entry price of AED 60. Our aim this year has been to provide the bike week audience with something different, fresh, and dynamic. A true festival feel.”

Visitors will be entertained from early afternoon till the end of the show across all three days. Commencing at 04:00pm, day one will see Jay Wud, The Maplejacks, The Boxtones and Juliana Down perform, with the festival concluding for the day at 11:00pm.

Day two will have Screemin Egulz, Salha & The Million Dollar Band, The Boxtones and The Maplejacks wow the crowds with their talents, with the session beginning at 01:30pm and concluding at 11:00pm.

Chronicles of Khan
Craig Paul, the Front Man for Screemin Egulz, said: “The Skreemin’ Egulz are excited and proud to perform on stage at Gulf Bike Week 2013. All members of our classic rock and blues band are bikers who ride Harley Davidson motorcycles, so for us and the Bike Week crowd, this event is a perfect fit". 

Riff Raff, Chronicles of Khan, Point of View, Sandwash and The Maplejacks will be seen entertaining the crowds on the third day. The final day of the event will begin at 01:30pm and conclude at 09:30pm.

Tickets are priced at AED 60 per day, allowing visitors access to all day live local bands and DJs, entertainment, great food and beverage outlets, and the Bike Show itself.

Organised by Clarion Events Middle East and brought to you by Dubai Calendar, Gulf Bike Week is Middle East’s only dedicated bike festival that showcases the very latest in motorcycles, cruisers, off road and all/urban-terrain vehicles, apparel, accessories and motorcycle-related products as well as major international lifestyle brands all over the world. It’s one of the few festivals that has been able to draw not just increased visitors from across the region, but also VIP’s, royalty and international celebrities.
