ALL PIES ON QUBE

Amateur bakers are being given the chance to create the ultimate pie – with the most mouthwatering creation going on the menu at the city’s best sports bar.
Qube Sports Bar at Meydan responded to customer demand by putting homemade pies, filled with beef or chicken, on the menu last month using a secret recipe from head chef Sunil Anandan.
They have been hugely popular and now the hunt is on to find a third pie to go on the menu – and it will be named after the winning cook.
All anyone has to do is submit their recipe to the bar staff or send in the details through the venues Facebook page by June 30th. Qube’s head chef Sunil will pick a winner on July 4th after a secret taste test.
“No matter where people are from everyone loves a good pie,” said Sunil.
“My secret recipe was formed while I trained in the UK. The first time someone digs into one of our homemade pies their eyes light up and they say it is just like their Mum used to make at home.
“And of course eating a pie at a football match is a huge tradition so what better than to do the same when watching the big match at Qube.”
The new range of homemade pies is part of Qube’s new renovated menu, which now includes a dedicated hamburger section – made with exotic recipes from around the world.
