THE TRACK GOLF COURSE RANKED IN TOP TEN

The Track golf course at Meydan has been named one of the top 10 nine-hole courses in the world outside the US in a poll conducted by Golf Digest.
The Track ranks sixth in the inaugural poll conducted by one of the world's leading golf magazines on courses with fewer than 18 holes and playable within 2 hours.
International editions of Golf Digest were asked to nominate their region's best nine-hole venues as part of a campaign by the US edition to promote nine-hole golf.
The floodlit course's nine-holes vary between tricky par threes, drivable par fours and lengthy par fives. Wide fairways are a key feature in the Peter Harradine designed course which, according to experts and professionals, is a lot trickier than it first looks.
Monthly competitions such as the AGMC BMW Pairs, the Night Golf Championships and the US Masters competition have set The Track apart in recent months, as have its competitive rates such as the AED195 summer offer for night golf.
As well as the breathtaking views across Meydan and the iconic downtown Dubai skyline, The Track has been recognised for its innovation.
Golf Digest said: "Having only been opened a year, The Track has quickly proved a fun, challenging course with superb facilities, an innovative tee-time booking system and great views of the downtown skyline."
Marketing Manager at The Track, James Leeman, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have been recognized internationally in such a prestigious list.
"The Track is less than a year old and to rank alongside some of the biggest and most established names in the world shows just how far we have some in a short space of time.
"We urge everyone that has not been to the Track to come and give us a go. There is no membership required, so you can just pay and play.
"Our whole philosophy is to offer something new to the market and we are succeeding in doing that."
