Sponsored by MIDEX AIRLINES, Returns from 21 – 23 November
Established
in 2010 and following on from the success of the 2012 Dubai Pre-Owned Boat
Show, which saw 29 yachts sold at an accumulate value of more than AED 9.5
million, Dubai Golf has announced the 2013 event will be held at the Dubai
Creek Marina from 21st to 23rd November 2013.
The Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show 2013
sponsored by MIDEX AIRLINES, is the only event of its kind in the region and is
open to buyers and sellers from across the Middle East. Located once again at
the picturesque Dubai Creek Marina, the event organisers are looking to build
on the success of the 2012 event, where over 7,200 people flocked to what has
become one of the top boating events in the region.
Commenting on the event, Mustafa Al
Hashimi, General Manager - Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, said; “The Middle
East is a haven for sailing aficionados, with stunning coastlines to explore
and impressive marinas to moor boats of all shapes and sizes. It is also home
to some of the world’s most spectacular yachts and demand for quality vessels
in the region has been steadily increasing.
“This year’s show coincides with
the 20th Anniversary of the Dubai Creek Golf Club – a major milestone in the
history of the club – and we are already witnessing strong interest in this
year’s Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show, with registration for boats, jet skis and
retailers now being taken.”
The show is a specialist event and
unique in the region. Supported by event partner, Arabian Scandinavian
Insurance Company (Ascana), the Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show gives boat buyers
intimate access to sellers, financers and insurers all on site throughout the
three-day event, effectively providing them with the opportunity to ‘buy and
sail’ on the same day. However, the show is so much more than a sales event,
with an assortment of leisure and retail offerings for all the family, including
the fiesta bodega island, family friendly games and competitions and live
music.
