Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian resort of Dubai, welcomes Joseph Fowler as the new Manager for Madinat Theatre, Souk Madinat.

Joseph Fowler

A British national, Joseph trained as a classical dancer at The Royal Ballet School in London and began his career as a ballet dancer. For over 12 years he worked with such famous and reputable troupes like The Royal Ballet, Zurich Ballet, Bejart Ballet, Tokyo National Ballet, Frankfurt Ballet Theatre and The Paris Opera Ballet as corps de ballet and solo artist. Later on he decided to try his expertise in choreography and stage direction successfully presenting numerous productions on stages of Paris, Montreal, Nuremberg, London and Dubai.
Prior to joining Madinat Jumeirah, Joseph held directorial positions at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, Regents Park Open Air Theatre in London, and worked as General Manager at Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre - DUCTAC.

Fluent in English and French, Joseph will be responsible for all shows, events, plays and other entertainment activities at the Madinat Theatre. Having worked with world renowned celebrities like Liza Minnelli, Dame Shirley Bassey, Placido Domingo, Luc Besson, Sylvie Guillem, Mika, Geri Halliwell and Kristin Scott Thomas, he brings vast experience of unique stage and screen entertainment to the team of Madinat Theatre.
