Rooney Mara made
a show-stopping appearance on the red carpet of last week’s Oxfam charity gala at
the Armani Hotel wearing a custom ivory-coloured Lanvin gown inspired by the Resort
2014 collection. An Oxfam global
ambassador, Rooney was in town for the second consecutive year to support ‘One
Night to Change Lives’, the annual glittering gala fundraiser held alongside
the Dubai International Film Festival in
aid of UAE-based philanthropic organisation, Dubai Cares, and global
development and aid agency, Oxfam.
Outlining her
hourglass figure, the one-shoulder Lanvin crepe dress featured a sculptural
ruffled layered neckline with a slight flared hem, a tiny train plus a cinched
waist. Rooney’s minimalist look also saw
a little mascara on the eyes that left all the emphasis on a deep berry lip
shade. A slick back bun went to complete one of the actress’ best red carpet
moments.
