Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection, connectivity and infrastructure products, has announced its participation in the DatacenterDynamics (DCD) Converged Riyadh conference, which takes place on the 10th of December, 2013 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh.
The second peer-led data centre conference and expo series in Saudi Arabia will continue to highlight trends and developments related to the Kingdom’s fast-growing IT infrastructure market, including the creation, management and servicing of modular datacentres. IT spending across the region is forecasted to grow from $7.1 billion at the end of 2012 to $12.4 billion by 2016 with the Kingdom leading the way. The presence by the company at the conference is the latest sign of its increasing commitment to the GCC’s largest market.
“Saudi Arabia is a key strategic market for us. As the country continues to diversify its economy and invests heavily in improving its physical and technical infrastructure, we believe we have the broadest range of products and services to fulfil that demand. Datacentres will be at the heart of IT with customers desiring solutions that are not only technically superior, competitively priced but also sustainable from a green perspective,” commented Vipin Sharma, Tripp Lite’s Vice-President for Middle East and Africa (MEA).
The company will use the conference as the platform to demonstrate its 0.9 PF UPS System for power protection, remotely controlled 9.7 KW in-row cooling, 16-32 port Multi user IP KVM line and Slim Wall mount racks. These products provide an end-to-end, integrated solution for IT managers to build and administer datacentres that are robust, scalable and also energy efficient in order to deliver outstanding technical experience with the strongest return on investment.
“The GCC region has been delivering the highest rate of growth within Tripp Lite worldwide, with a double digit showing. We have recently signed two strategic distribution and service partners to ensure that our customers can get our products when they need them knowing that local help is at hand to assist them every step of the way. This is what makes us different” added Sharma.
The company will use the conference to meet with customers face to face to understand their businesses and their IT challenges at first hand. This approach has been fundamental to its success as it ensures that customers’ needs always come first and that the company can recommend the solution that best suits each individual customer. Having qualified and dedicated local partners provides that crucial link in the chain to deliver a seamless customer experience.
