Abu Dhabi Media
(ADM) today announced the appointment of Alsaad Omar Almenhaly as the new
Editor-in-Chief of National Geographic Al Arabiya, a pan-Arab magazine
published in partnership with National Geographic Society.
Almenhaly bears over fourteen
years of experience and previously held key positions at Al Ittihad newspaper. As new Editor-in-chief for National Geographic
Al Arabiya, she will continue driving the magazine’s editorial across fifteen
countries in the MENA region. The publication, known for delivering
award-winning and locally focused content, reaches over 50,000 readers in the
Arab world.
Saif Saeed Ghobash, Chief
Operating Officer at Abu Dhabi Media, commented: “Abu Dhabi Media is committed
to delivering engaging and informative content to audiences across the Arab
world. National Geographic Al Arabiya is one of our key assets, and a
demonstration of our dedication to meeting our readers’ thirst for knowledge.”

vision will bring forth further success to the publication,” he added.
National Geographic Al Arabiya was
established in 2010, as the Arabic edition of the world renowned National
Geographic Magazine, the official publication of the National Geographic
Society. The first issue of the magazine was published in the United States in
1888, and has since expanded to over 160 countries worldwide. The magazine is
currently published in 39 languages, with a global circulation of 8.3 million
readers. The magazine has also become well known for its iconic imagery.
Almenhaly commented: “It is an

Alsaad assumes her new role
following the move of Mohammed Al Hammadi, who has taken up a role as the
Editor-in-Chief at Al Ittihad newspaper.
