Fall Winter ‘13/14
Pinko’s
latest collection encourages women to explore their style, offering creative
ways and options to combine and match their looks this winter. This season
Pinko focuses on rich themes like ‘Sporty Gypsy,’ Sixties slink,’ and
‘Androgeny.’ The result is a series of strong looks blending all these
influences and inspirations– ‘60s shapes in tech fabrics, sleek cuts, camouflage
prints, candy colours and fun detailing, making winter fun!
Sixties Slink. Revisit the influences and inspirations behind that
revolutionary age by showcasing three different bold, sassy and versatile looks
fine for a mild early fall season bustling with both casual and dressy
occasions. Skirts may still play up bare legs, while jackets are definitely
open to all possibilities.
Sporty Gypsy.
Rethink the gypsy style and palette by adding a clearly boyish and contemporary
slant. Color combinations are smart and strong, shapes a matter of severity
elegance. The fanciful flair, by contrast, emerges in a few precise elements:
the pattern on a sweater, the print of a blouse, the cut of a dress, the
tapestry effect of a jacket, a most unusual material mix. Now Flower Power
gives way to Urban Connection.
Androgeny.
Reinterpret mannish style, imbuing the concept with novel twists and turns. As
in a slightly baggy cut to highlight a sexy detail, or long fluid feminine/nude
mix to offset the pure masculinity of a jacket. On the color front, a palette
of slate grays joins forces with free-for-all white and luscious hints of
framboise pink.
