Stuart Bold at SHA Wellness Clinic @shawellness

Healing Hands

Former attorney and lawyer Stuart Bold returns to SHA this September and December of 2013, and again in 2014 in February, May and July. The teacher of meditation, psychoneuroimmunology, mindfulness, positive energy, energy work and Reiki, Stuart Bold is one of the world’s leading and respected practitioners in these therapies.

Starting out as an attorney, Bold changed his life path 20 years ago by giving up law. He wanted to follow “pursuits of the heart,” as he describes them. He travelled to Mexico. There he was told about a very special, secluded beach which was practically unknown. With barely a person in sight, there he hung up his flip flops and stayed in a hammock in amongst the palm trees and turtles for a whole year where he began his journey into meditation. After leaving the beach, he travelled around the globe progressing his passion for meditation. When in Egypt, he met a Dutch lady who was a teacher of Reiki. Unfamiliar with Reiki, bizarrely the day before he met the lady, he found a book about Reiki and read it cover to cover! The strange coincidence led him to take classes with her and he completed the first level. He asked to be a Reiki teacher, and unusually the lady agreed to teach him. He was only the second person she had agreed to teach in all her life. He spent a year learning and training, and consequently became a Reiki teacher about 14 years ago.
Since, he has been teaching around the world. He imparts his skill in a range of therapies including traditional and spiritual Reiki, cranio-sacral therapy, energy work along with quantum healing, as well as his own personal connection in healing. He has worked extensively with the Addenbrooke’s hospital, the world’s leading teaching hospital, working with cancer patients. He spent a year performing clinical Reiki and clinical energy work with cancer patients, and has worked with Prince Charles’ charity, the Foundation for Integrated Health.
“Meditation teaching is straight forward and down to earth,” says Bold of his approach to teaching his craft. He teaches in a way that is engageable and uses easily learned techniques, to make it more relatable for most people.
Benefits:
Bold treats everyone from CEOs to cancer patients, to people wanting to improve their work/life performance. He can also apply his teaching for weight management, fertility, improvement of relationships, pain and even anti-ageing. The skills learned and imparted can be used to improve day to day lives, health, well being, illnesses, health challenges, aging, and general betterment.

Bold is the founder of the Meditation Foundation in the UK. He has worked with many universities, including Manchester University, where he worked with cancer and diabetic patients, including war veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. His treatment is also effective in managing emotional problems, depression, hypertension, blood pressure, as well as eating and diet.
When asked why we should meditate, Bold responds: “How we think, and our intention is the foundation for health, well being and happiness,” He helps us in bringing all of this together.
