Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort s sweeps 60 medals at the 2nd East Coast Culinary Cocktail Competition 2013.
Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort held their 2nd East Coast Culinary & Cocktail Competition where top Fujairah hotels showcased their brightest and best through static culinary displays, edible artistic arrangements and mixology.
With over 11 categories and 100 chefs competing for the 62 Emirates Culinary Guild medals, Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort managed sweep 60 medals in this remarkable competition.
This
event hosted by Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort for 2 consecutive years
is a part of the hotel’s CSR programs. Culinary competitions play a vital role
in culinary arts and as they continually raise the standards of culinary
excellence. This year’s competition showcased new trends, classical skills,
innovative techniques, and most of all the exceptional talent, dedication, and
competitive spirit.

Aqah Beach Resort’s East Coast Culinary & Cocktail Competition, it
represents everything I believe in as a chef,” said K.A.C. Prasad,
Executive Chef at Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort “As chefs, and

a range of ingredients, from fruits, vegetables, dairy products, proteins,
breads and much more” he continued.
Each
competition is called a ‘class’. Each class of the various competitions is
intended to test the differing skills of entrants whilst also celebrating the
preparation and presentation of food and its accoutrements in attractive and
pleasing forms.
Competitors were
evaluated by a panel of 10 chefs and 50 renowned chef marshals, mandated by the
Emirates Culinary Guild (ECG)
to judge culinary events to ensure the highest competition standards.

is no other culinary challenge in the East Coast as unique and exciting as
