MODA OPERANDI BRINGS A WEEK OF EXCITING EXCLUSIVITY @modaoperandi @michaelangelx

Moda Operandi launches its Exclusive Week, which sees a number of designers partner with Moda Operandi to present capsule collections for the site and to offer its customers personalized goods. 

The week starting the 12th August will give customers the chance to pre-order from a collection of unique pieces, which have been designed, exclusively for the luxury fashion site.  Brands taking part in the Exlusive Week are: Michael Angel, Stella Jean, Del Torro, M. De Phocas and Le Petite Caravan.

MICHAEL ANGEL

• Collection made up of 6 dresses, 2 skirts, 1 bustier top, 1 capsleeve top, 1 sequenced skirt, 1 sequenced t-shirt and 1 trench coat.
• ‘Vibrant rebellion with feminine silhouettes’
• Very colorful, bright tartan and unexpected floral prints
• Digital prints on silk and silk cottons.
• Made in New York
• Michael Angel has not been designing for the past few seasons.  He has been off the grid, so this partnership with Moda Operandi is his official return to design post break
• Trunkshow starts on 12thAugust and will run for 2 weeks.

STELLA JEAN

• Exclusive collection for MO
• Collection made up of 4 looks: 2 skirts, 1 t-shirt, 2 dress, 2 swim suits
• To create the collection, the designer took the best silhouettes and most popular styles from past MO trunkshows and tailor made this special collection
• Stella Jean supports organizations that create working opportunities for women in Africa.  This collection was no exception and created brilliant opportunities in the making of these pieces.
• Stella Jean is a top performer for Moda Operandi
• Trunkshow starts on 13thAugust and will run for 2 weeks.

M. DE PHOCAS

• M. De Phocas are two designers, Alexis and Jesus, who grew up down the road from each other in Mexico.
• They are renowned for creating unique Men’s accessories, but have now ventured into designing accessories for women too.
• Their first women’s collection will be launched for the first time on Moda Operandi.
• Colorful, playful, cute, fun and whimsical enamel pieces
• Collection is made up of: pins, earrings, charms & cufflinks.  Charms: Gummy bear, pansy flowers, gumball dispensers.  Ring: 3 little pigs & wolf.  Earrings: pansy flowers.  Lapel stick pins: dart board, airplanes, banana split
• This collection is about taking a serious piece of dresswear (cufflinks, lapel pins, etc.) and giving it a more playful and fun twist
• This brand has been newly added to the vast Moda Operandi Brand Portfolio
• Trunkshow starts on 15thAugust and will run for 2 weeks.

DEL TORRO

• All new all new and Exclusive to MO: Personalized Smoking slipper (velvet)
• Available in 6 colors
• Two easy steps: 1) select shoe color, 2) choose from initial letters in a collegiate font OR special crests with edgy/tongue & cheek phrases (i.e. shit happen, walk of shame, truth in wine.  All phrases would be written in Latin)

• Unisex – loafer for men and women
• Del Torro is all about incorporating fun and humor in fashion
• Trunkshow starts on 16thAugust and will run for 2 weeks.

LE PETITE CARAVAN

• Exclusive to Moda Operandi is the Transatlantique Collection which is inspired by the Golden Era and the transatlantic journey in the 50’s
• Collection made up of: 8 girls looks, 3 boys shirts. Total of 11 pieces
• Easy and fun prints with vintage touches
• Trunkshow starts on 17thAugust and will run for 2 weeks.
