- Sundance Live prepares for the return of the retro concert-

Tickets for the second edition of MiXTAPE Rewind, a retro concert by Sundance LIVE, are now on sale at Timeoutdubai.com. Priced at AED 295, the concert is scheduled on 17th January 2014 at Emirates Golf Club, Sheikh Zayed Road. MiXTAPE Rewind promises yet another nostalgic night as Boney M, Dr. Alban, Vengaboys, SNAP! and N-Trance take the stage on the night.
“Retro fans can look forward to a night of reminiscing, the artist lineup was handpicked to bring back memories for the concert goers.  We’re working hard to make sure that the concert continues to offer fans the ultimate 90’s and 80’s music experience,” said Mario Zakhary, Managing Director, Sundance LIVE.
With over 5,000 fans, the debut concert brought back classic 90’s artists including No Mercy, Jenny from Ace of Base, Haddaway, Culture Beat, La Bouche, Go West and SNAP!, who will return for this season. Sundance LIVE is planning to inject a little bit of the 80’s into the mix in the next edition of MiXTAPE Rewind. “There is something very special about the music from these two decades. It embodies pure fun. Having grown up in the 80’s and 90’s myself, I like the back-to-retro direction of new music, car designs, fashion and art in general. I’m excited to bring the 90’s and 80’s back into the spotlight for our regional fans,” added Mario Zakhary.
As the organisers of the du World Music Festival and the agency behind memorable concerts of Arab superstars Amr Diab and Mohamed Mounir, Philippine rock stars Eraserheads and other renowned acts such as Gabrielle, Train, Air Supply and Gipsy Kings – the Sundance LIVE team create unforgettable concert experiences every time.

MiXTAPE Rewind takes place on 17th January 2014 at Emirates Golf Club, Sheikh Zayed Road. Concert starts at 8pm doors will open 5pm with DJ performances and activities including Live radio broadcast by Channel 4 Network, the official radio station, as well as concert photo booth by Light House Studio.
