Spain’s Ambassador and Global Village CEO officially open the Spanish Pavilion

Under the auspices of Spain’s ambassador, His Excellency Jose Eugenio Salarich, and the Global Village CEO, Saeed Ali Bin Redha, and in the presence of a number of VIP guests and officials the Spanish Pavilion for this year has been officially opened.
It is the second year for the Spanish Pavilion at Global Village and the Ambassador and CEO took a tour around the Pavilion and stopped at many of the shops which displayed a wide range of ‘Made in Spain’ products. Most of the high quality products have come directly from Spain and are not available anywhere else in the UAE.

The Ambassador said he was delighted that his nation was participating for the second year in Global Village and how impressed he was with the size and scale of the facilities for visitors.
“Our pavilion is a major platform to promote tourism in Spain and to introduce the country’s varied quality products. No doubt, our participation at Global Village also gives us a bigger chance to get to know about the arts and culture of other nations as well as the diverse folk shows presented. Watching the folk shows is one thing I personally enjoy every time I visit Global Village”, said the Ambassador”.
Global Village CEO Saeed Ali Bin Redha added: “The Spanish pavilion is another example of our commitment to bringing new nations to the event and we are delighted that they are now participating for a second year and building on the significant success of their debut at Global Village last year.”

Pavilion organiser Mohammed Lootah added:, “This is the first time we have participated at Global Village through organizing this pavilion and we have tried to focus on the country’s culture, folk art and famous products such as olive oil, saffron, leather items and much more.”
