Golf Prodigy Retains title of NBAD Ladies Open Championship

The 29th NBAD Ladies Open Golf Championship at Al Ghazal Golf Club concluded with 15-year old Sana Tufail winning the tournament for the second year in a row to cement her status as a golf prodigy.

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) is the longest ever running sponsor in the history of golf in the UAE. The 2012 NBAD Abu Dhabi Ladies Open Golf Championship at Al Ghazal Golf Club, arguably the best sand course in the world, took place over the weekend of 16 and 17 November 2012.

“NBAD is pleased to promote and support cultural and sports activities as part of our corporate responsibility initiatives,” said May Ibrahim Bumajeed, the Deputy Head of Corporate Communication Department at NBAD. “NBAD is committed to promoting and supporting the athletic and artistic talent of UAE’s youth.”

Dina Al Khoury, the   Project and Events Manager at NBAD, presented all the trophies and prizes at the event on behalf of the Bank.
