environments make it an ideal school camp destination for every field of study.
Our sophisticated tourism industry is reliable, experienced and holds the
necessary expertise in order to safely and successfully conduct unique school
camp programmes that are both educational and fun at the same time.
Additionally the quality of the programmes is amongst the best in the world,
yet provided economically for budget conscience schools and parents.”
The
“Amazing Experiences in Amazing Thailand” initiative has been specially crafted
by the Tourism Authority of Thailand to meet the needs of both UAE based travel
agents and schools, with the hope that through this initiative Thailand can
prove a valuable impetus and support in developing the minds and scholastic
learning of UAE’s students and youth.
The
Familiarisation trip was attended by TAT Marketing Officer, Mr. Chawarot
Chankiatthitikul together with local travel partner representatives Coz &
Kings Tours LLC and Marcopolo Holidays. Representatives from local Thai
agencies also attended the trip.
The “Amazing Experiences in
Amazing Thailand” initiative is part of an expanded strategic marketing and
promotional push by the Tourism Authority of Thailand to attract a greater
number of visitors from the Middle East to the South-East Asian destination.
During the last few years, the Middle East market has been a growing and
increasingly important source market of visitors to Thailand with market
research suggesting this positive trend to continue over at least the next five
years. An increase of 5% in the number of visitors from the G.C.C. is expected
for 2012 compared to those experienced in 2011.
