Global Village 3D Projection Mapping Show Runs Until National Day

Dubai, 7 November, 2012:  Global Village, the region’s leading Cultural, Shopping and Entertainment family outdoor destination, is set to reveal the insights of its 3D Mapping Projection Show. The show, is a world’s premiere especially commissioned for the theme park and comprises a 4-minute film using the main building of Global Village as the screen, the 43 days of daily shows will continue until 2nd of December 2012.

Without using 3D glasses, the planet Earth shaped Global Village main building comes to life, and viewers are taken on a birds eye tour over skyscrapers, and plunge in to the sea, all via some wonderful animation. The work required a large team, as it was designed feather by feather before the falcon’s wing begin to hover.

More than 20 people in their respective fields of digital technology along with an assigned team from Global Village in Dubai, have worked on the project. This exclusively owned film is presented using six projectors and using the latest voice technology and speakers to reach a capacity of 7,000 audiences. The works began last July, and the first scenario started with a storyboard, and eventually, a Dubai focused storyline came into the limelight.

Making its debut, the film is presented eight times a day at Global Village in front of the main building near the VIP entrance.

Since its inception more than 15 years ago - only four years ago making a debut in Budapest, Visual Power has paved it’s way to fame in Europe. The company’s unforeseen motto is ‘make the building shake’. Success was reaped in Europe, and the ‘architectural designs of ancient buildings in their Gothic and Renaissance epoch structure in Europe, tend to give the show a fourth dimension’, according to the team leader who is here in Dubai to play the show with a team of six people.

Paramount to its success, Visual Power launched a contest “paint up” in 2011. The annual contest aims at promoting this sector of entertainment and 3D projection mapping shows.

3D Mapping Projection show, will be presented with an extended 2 minutes in celebration of the National Day on 2nd of December 2012.
