Abu Dhabi, November 6 2012: Region-based medical practitioners have the chance to study for a global certification as Abu Dhabi’s Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (ICLDC) hosts the coveted Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) programme this month.

In partnership with UK’s Hammersmith Medicine, ICLDC is set to offer junior doctors and medical specialists a three-day workshop in either MRCP Part 1 or Part 2 in preparation for the MRCP examination.

The programmes are scheduled for November 11-13 2012 at ICLDC, a state-of-the art centre for the treatment of diabetes. The facility offers a purpose-designed lecture theatre, interaction areas and offers easy access to a number of hotels and airport.

Professor Karim Meeran, MRCP programme leader and specialist from Imperial College London urged the local medical specialists to take benefit of courses run in Abu Dhabi in November 2012.
“The courses are proving to be a major draw for regional doctors who get a dual benefit of CME hours and globally-recognised certification,” said the course leader, Imperial College London’s Professor Karim Meeran. He confirmed that both programmes are accredited by HAAD for 21 CME hours.
