Weekly Community Market in Safa Park to Showcase Fare from UAE’s
Leading Artisans
Pantry Café, the popular gourmet all day dining restaurant in Al Wasl Square, has announced its participation in Ripe’s forthcoming Foodie Friday Market launching on 1 November.
Each Friday Pantry Café will showcase a wide selection of its produce at the market held to provide a family-friendly environment for the community to browse and buy delicious and nutritious food, to support local producers and to enjoy the great artisanal talent in the UAE.
“Since our launch earlier this year, our goal has been to engage with our local community and also provide guests with locally sourced ingredients and gourmet fare. We are delighted to be involved in the Ripe Foodie Friday Market and look forward to enjoying the stunning surroundings of Safa Park with our patrons, friends and family,” said Yana Kalwani, Vice-Chairperson, Pantry Café.
Pantry Café will offer a feast of foods to visitors including salads, sandwiches, cakes and beverages, all the ideal components for a picnic in the park.
Stalls at Ripe’s Foodie Friday Market will cater for everyone, foodies and non-foodies alike; from Ripe’s seasonal, organic produce and locally made cheese and chutneys, cakes, bakes and gluten-free items, to lovely gift items from the UAE’s leading artisans. There will also be activities for all ages including yoga classes, cooking workshops and a petting zoo for little ones.
Since its opening in January 2013, Pantry Cafe is dedicated to providing the highest quality of food and beverages prepared using only the freshest ingredients, most of which are organic and locally sourced. A true gourmet experience, the restaurant has its own wood-fire oven where fresh pizzas are baked upon order, a large selection of salads and sandwiches, an international breakfast menu and an all-day dining menu that any food fanatic will devour. The restaurant also boasts a wide selection of unique merchandise and kitchen products that are showcased around the outlet in a true ‘pantry’ style.
