She developed diverse design skills working with haute couture, sportswear, infant and children’s fashion, traditional clothing, and even luxury interior fabrics. Her international exposure in sourcing textiles and accessories coupled with her regional knowledge reflect a unique sense of style. Zakia began her career at Fus Europe in Lavaure, France and continued in Casablanca, Morocco with Société Dalia, Benjitex & Artimeuble, followed by two years gaining practical experience at several New York City design boutiques
