Light House Studio Dubai is set to host two photography workshops this December. The first course on Wedding Photography will offer practical hands on experience and explore different studio lighting techniques and situations. Topics will cover understanding of a wedding photo shoot, taking brief; from arranging a form kit to marketing and targeting high-end weddings, the training will also highlight client management, wedding day and photo selections. With the assistance of simulated wedding with models, the training will cover lighting, angles and creating a memorable wedding album. Participants will perform test assignments in varying environments as well as mock setups with real models and crew. The course will cover indoor and outdoor photo shoot allowing participants to be exposed to natural lighting thus identifying unique aspects of photography techniques.
Fashion and Beauty Photography workshop is a 2-Day intensive workshop and  will cover different lighting techniques and setups used for fashion and glamour photo shoots, covering various sources of natural and artificial lighting as well as manipulation for ambient light.
Led by Brett Florens, an award winning wedding photographer and the brand ambassador of Nikon, the workshops will commence from 13th to 17th December 2013. This intensive course will start from 10am to 6pm. Both workshops conclude with a comprehensive session of post-production.
“These workshop will cover wide spectrum of topics including do’s and don’ts of photography, industry secrets and diverse studio lighting techniques. Post shoot, students will also be trained on the post-processing methods such as the Photoshop. About the Workshop: A 2-Day intermediate course entails going through various light shaping tools, and understanding the result that comes for the different light sources. Students will get an understanding on how to pose the model and the composition of the frame. Dealing with models, make-up artists and managing client's expectations. There will be a lot of practical  work, with different lighting setups and different lighting situations indoors and outdoors.
Location: Light House Studio Dubai and outdoor
Dates: 13th and 14th December 2013
Timings: 10am-6pm (Lunch is included)
What is required to bring: Camera, set of lenses, memory cards, extra battery for the camera.
Meeting Point: Please arrive at 10am to Light House Studio, and we will arrange the transport to the photoshoot locations, and bring you back to the studio by 6pm.
