As part of its continuous social corporate
responsibility initiatives, Global Village, the region’s leading Cultural,
Shopping and Entertainment family outdoor destination, has been awarded the
Dubai Chamber CSR Label for 2012. The award ceremony was held at the Dubai
Chamber of Commerce last Monday, 19th of December 2012.
Another milestone for the homegrown theme park, and an
incentive to continue its ongoing efforts to focus more on community projects,
the environment and sustainability.

The Dubai Chamber CSR label is designed to provide a
free diagnostic framework and serve as a learning and development tool that
helps companies define and improve their CSR strategies, policies and
management practices. As a program tailored for the Middle East, specifically
Dubai and the UAE, the CSR label, is based on international standards and best
practices.
CSR Label will help promote Global Village amongst
clients and staff which will result in a clearer, more transparent framework to
further implement CSR initiatives.
